A Neighbour's View

This painting was created in an effort to capture and perpetuate the presence of my neighbour’s family home in Warrandyte. It holds many special memories for me growing up as a child and reflects the hardworking personalities of both neighbours who lived in the home until their late 90’s. They both loved their gardening and had a strong appreciation for nature. They truly enjoyed the simple things in life. Anyone one who knows this house is familiar with the unique character and aurora it holds and I felt an obligation as an artist to capture this before the house is one day knocked down.
